Every engagement starts with I.D.™
At Link-up Consulting, I.D. is the platform for everything we do. Once we have agreed the objectives of our engagement with a leader, the first thing we do is take the leader and each member of the team through the I.D. profiling process. Each person completes our 32-question profile, then spends time 1:1 with a consultant to put the profile into context for who they are and what their current challenges are.
A tailored approach to delivery
We deliver our full range of consulting services through a mixture of the following, depending on your particular requirements:
Workshops (part-day or full-day)
- Virtual Meetings using Webconferencing or Telepresence technology
Leader briefings and debriefings
Ongoing coaching and feedback, through phone calls, voicemails, emails
I.D. and numerous other tools to support what we do
Intentional transfer of our skills to the leader and their team
How long does it take?
Our engagements are typically broken into a few stages - working right through to building a High Performance Team can take anything up to a year and at times the team may need to revisit some of the earlier phases.
Objectives are agreed upfront for each stage and while we always consider our engagements to be a long-term partnership with our clients, there is no obligation to sign up for more than one stage at a time.
We are totally focused on achieving the desired business goals for our clients, so we expect to be held fully accountable for each stage we deliver and measured on the outcomes.
Leaders are our champions
It's really important that the leaders we work with act as the driving force behind our programs and we make this expectation clear at the start of each engagement.
There is no question that the best results are achieved when the leader champions the development process for their team.
We can arrange for our seesions or workshops to form part of your regular business review of planning sessions, so that once we've finished our part of the day, we can stay on to coach the team in 'real-time', as you work through the rest of your agenda.
Our consultants are skilled at picking the right moment to connect what's happening in the meeting to what came out during our session, demonstrating to the team how to apply the strategies provided. This is a very effective approach, as it makes the issues and their solutions real and locks in the learning. Our clients generally find this 3-4 times as effective as the initial session, with this activitiy regularly rated best of the overall session or off-site.
